Displays
The production-ready mock-ups developed by our Folding Carton Group look like they came right from a full-production run. That's because we start with a G7 certified XP4 Kodak proof printed on a special digital press designed for small runs. The proof is printed on the specific substrate requested by the customer, including clay-coated newsback (CCNB), solid unbleached sulfite (SUS), solid bleached sulfite (SBS), bending chip and foil board. Our structural design department then receives the proof where it is cut on a high-speed computer-aided design (CAD) table and hand assembled. So when customers review the mock-up, they see exactly how it will look and feel it in its true form.
As soon as customers give their approval, we're ready to roll. The file has already been set up to run on digital presses, so it can go directly into a full-production run, providing fast turnaround.
Packaging
For displays, headers, trays, Pack `N´ Stack and standees, we output production-ready mock-ups on our G7 calibrated large-format digital press. The digital press can print one-offs on corrugate, paperboard, laminated board and a variety of synthetic stocks. The structure is cut on a high-speed CAD table, assembled if needed, and becomes the mock-up.
Graphic design
Historically, we have produced mock-ups by incorporating customer-furnished artwork applied to a die line created by our structural designers. We are now in the process of expanding our graphic design capabilities to include original art and other value-added services such as graphic renderings and 3-D animated presentations to better meet our customers' diverse needs.
